Launching Take It Slow – A Personal Thank You

Today’s is a day I will never forget—Take It Slow: The Slow Revolution for Deeper Connection and Mindful Living officially launches on Amazon.

And if I’m being honest… I’m feeling all the feelings right now.

This book didn’t come out of nowhere. It grew slowly—just like the philosophy it promotes. It was born from years of navigating health challenges, balancing a demanding career, raising teenagers as a single mother, moving countries, and constantly asking myself: What really matters?

Writing Take It Slow was never just about putting words on a page. It was about pausing to make sense of my own life. About giving shape to the practices and reflections that helped me reconnect with myself when life felt overwhelming. And about creating something that might help you do the same.

I’ve written books before—one alone, some with co-authors—but this one was different. This one is deeply personal. I didn’t have a team of publishers behind me this time. I had to learn everything from scratch: self-publishing, formatting, marketing, Amazon algorithms—you name it. It was intimidating and messy and imperfect… and so incredibly rewarding.

Today, this book makes its way out into the world—and I couldn’t have done it without you.
