Live Online Qi Gong Classes
In midlife, your energy is the foundation for everything else.
When you learn to work with your energy, the rest of your wellbeing becomes easier to care for: how you sleep, how you focus, how you meet stress, and how much of yourself is left at the end of the day. The Energy Cultivation Program brings you live Qi Gong classes online, in small groups of no more than 20, together with Traditional Chinese Medicine, meditation, breathwork, integrative health coaching and small lifestyle changes, so you can build that foundation week by week, through the seasons of the year. Come as you are, where you are. We’ll begin there.
See the Membership PlansWhy It Matters
You may be eating reasonably well, moving your body and trying to get enough sleep. And still, somewhere in midlife, something has shifted. Perhaps you recognise some of this:
- You wake up tired after a full night in bed.
- You lie awake in the early hours with your mind already busy.
- By mid-afternoon, your focus begins to slip.
- The decisions you meant to make today quietly move to tomorrow.
- You get home with very little left for the people you love, or for yourself.
If this feels familiar, you may be wondering why, when you are already doing so much to look after yourself. Most of the women I work with already know what is good for them. What they haven’t found yet is a way to make it part of their lives without turning it into another job.
Each week, you join a live class of slow, flowing movement, deep breathing and focused attention, with no experience needed. Think of your energy as what you have to give each day: how rested you feel, how clearly you think, how well you cope. In midlife that reserve can feel smaller, and Qi Gong is a way of taking care of it.
Because the groups are small, I can see how you are and guide you from where you actually are that day. You don’t need to know what you need before you arrive. At first, I help you listen. Over time, you become better at listening to yourself.
What Women Often Notice
As they continue with the programme, many women report:
- More stable energy throughout the day
- Better sleep and deeper rest
- Less overwhelm and mental clutter
- Greater resilience to stress
- Improved focus and mental clarity
- Feeling calmer and more grounded
- A renewed sense of vitality
- More ease navigating hormonal changes and the demands of midlife
- Greater trust in their body
- More joy, presence and appreciation of everyday life
- A healthier relationship with rest
These experiences develop gradually through regular practice and may vary from person to person.
This is for you if…
- You are in midlife, capable and busy, and you’re tired of paying for it with your energy, your sleep, your focus and your sense of self.
- You already know what is good for you, but it keeps slipping to the bottom of the list.
- You’ve tried apps, videos or programmes before, and found it hard to keep going on your own.
- You are navigating menopause, a thyroid or autoimmune condition, or simply a demanding season of life, and you’d like a practice that supports your health and wellbeing alongside your medical care.
- You are new to Qi Gong, or returning to it after a long break.
Men are very welcome too, and my male students find the practices just as helpful.
This may not be the right fit if you are looking for a quick fix, a medical treatment, or an intense workout.
A Program That Moves With the Seasons
This is not a course with an end date. It is a living program that follows the natural energetic cycle of the seasons as understood through Traditional Chinese Medicine, because the body does not exist outside of nature. It moves with it. And when your practice moves with it too, something shifts.
Each season has its own quality of energy, its own demands on the body, its own invitation:
- Spring asks you to rise.
- Summer asks you to expand.
- Late Summer asks you to return to your center.
- Autumn asks you to gather.
- Winter asks you to rest.
The program honours all of it, so that instead of pushing against the season you are in, you learn to work with it. This is what sustainable restoration looks like. Not a protocol, a rhythm.
Meet Your Teacher

For more than thirty years I worked as a conference interpreter while raising my children on my own, and my rule was simple: keep going. One night the room started spinning. My first thought was, “I must just be very tired.” By the morning my blood pressure was 200/110, and I was on my way to the emergency room.
What changed my life wasn’t one miracle practice, but an integrative doctor, a slower life in Barcelona, and a regular Qi Gong practice that became part of my days. Today many of my mornings begin on a quiet beach before the city wakes up, with the same movements I teach in our classes. I don’t wait for my body to scream anymore. I have learned to listen when it whispers.
I am an Integrative Health Coach certified by the Institute for Integrative Nutrition and a certified Qi Gong teacher, and I have been coaching women since 2010. I teach online from Barcelona, and I’m the author of Take It Slow and a co-author of several other books.
What Happens in a Live Class
Each class lasts seventy-five minutes on Zoom.
We begin with a short introduction, so you can arrive as you are and I can see how everyone is that day.
Then we practise together: Qi Gong movements, breathing and moments of meditation, with the focus changing with the season and with what the group needs.
We close with a shared round of feedback, where you can say how you feel and ask anything.
Many women tell me this is the part they value most, because it’s where they begin to notice what the practice is doing for them.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any experience with Qi Gong?
None at all. The program is designed to be accessible to complete beginners while offering genuine depth for women who have been practising for years. You don’t need to be flexible, strong, or experienced — just willing.
What do I need to participate?
A space large enough to stretch your arms out, comfortable clothing, and a Zoom connection. No equipment required.
What if I can’t make a live session?
Class recordings will be available for 5 days, so you can catch up and won’t miss anything.
I don’t have time for this right now.
I understand, and it is often the clearest sign that something needs to change. One live class a week is enough to begin, and the library practices take ten to twenty minutes. The aim isn’t to fill your calendar with wellness, but to give you a few simple things you can come back to.
What if I join and then stop showing up?
Consistency here doesn’t mean never missing a class. It means having ways to return: the recording for five days, the WhatsApp group between classes, and the library for the mornings when ten minutes is all you have.
Can’t I just find Qi Gong for free online?
You can, and some of it is very good. What a video can’t do is see you, adapt the practice to your energy, a health condition or a pain that week, or help you keep going when nobody would notice if you stopped. That’s where personal guidance and a small group make the difference.
How soon might I notice a difference?
This varies from person to person and depends on how consistently you practise. Many women notice a shift in sleep quality and nervous system regulation within the first two to three weeks. The effects on mental clarity, focus, and energy at work tend to deepen over one to three months of consistent practice. This is not a sprint. It is a program designed to restore from the inside out.
What is the difference between the monthly and the annual option?
The monthly Essential plan (€40) gives you flexibility: one live class a week, the practice library while you’re a member, and 50% off seasonal workshops and monthly meditations. You can cancel at any time. The annual Immersion plan (€580 for the year, or three payments of €200) includes up to three live classes a week, all five seasonal workshops and all twelve monthly meditations with recordings, and the Summer Practice. It runs for twelve months from the day you join and is non-refundable.
What is your cancellation policy for the monthly options?
You can cancel at any time. There are no long-term commitments at the monthly level. I would rather you join when it feels right and leave when it no longer serves you than stay out of obligation.
What is included in the private library?
Short practices, self-massage and acupressure protocols from Traditional Chinese Medicine, seasonal resources, and everything added going forward. The library grows continuously, and all additions are included at no extra cost.
Where do the meditation proceeds go?
To charity. This is a commitment I made when I began offering meditation sessions and it will not change. I will always be transparent about which organisations I am supporting and my students’ suggestions are always welcome.
I don’t have hormonal imbalances or thyroid or autoimmune conditions. Is this program suitable for me?
Almost certainly yes. The program is designed around the underlying patterns that Traditional Chinese Medicine identifies as the root of most of what women experience as chronic exhaustion, hormonal fluctuation, and immune dysregulation — high cortisol, nervous system dysregulation, and Kidney Qi deficiency.
These are not conditions exclusive to a diagnosis. They are patterns that show up across a very wide range of symptoms and experiences: persistent fatigue, poor sleep, brain fog, anxiety, burnout, difficulty recovering from stress, feeling wired but tired, losing the thread of who you were before life got this heavy. They also lie at the root of the hormonal shifts of perimenopause and menopause, which affect every woman regardless of any prior diagnosis.
If you are a woman who feels that her energy, her nervous system, or her capacity to restore is not working the way it should, this program was made for you. A diagnosis is not required. What matters is that your body is asking for something different, and you are ready to listen.
Imagine how things could feel a few months from now
Imagine starting your day with the energy to live it, not simply to get through it. Imagine noticing when you need to slow down before you reach exhaustion, and knowing what to do when your mind won’t switch off or your energy begins to drop.
This doesn’t mean perfect days. It means having a practice you can return to as life continues, with work, commitments and the changes of midlife.
I hope to see you inside.
